CMB -This past weekend I was working on no sleep

Saturday we went from being in the studio all day to preforming at ZukFest (house party)

So we killed the house party this past Saturday !!

I mean we didn't even have that much room to preform so I found a spot above the crowd on some bass amp to capture how crazy it actually was lol










One of the mics broke so while P and Lonnie Ro did what they do best I was gettin the crowd hype

When this project came out, I heard it but I wasn't really listening (if that makes sense) but the colab album is so sick I went back and actually listened

Antoine and Whoopi did their follow up to the "Whoopi Vs. SilentBat" series our senior year and asked me to score the first half of the movie. It's been a while since I last saw it but now the first half is up on Vimeo. Looking back at it, (with the exception of some parts lol) I must say I didn't do a half bad job. I call it resume music.

So I went to this Seminar about Pro Tools 8 at West LA Music to see if they could teach me something I already didn't know. I can say I learned a couple new things, but for the most part I knew a lot of what they were talking about.

(I was only able to take 1 pic before my camera died lol)

About 3 weeks ago we played a battle of the bands that was supposed to have a $2000 cash prize in addition to studio time. Sounds good right? You only had to play in and win two battles in order to win the prize. Only requirement was that you had to sell 20 tickets in order to play. Here's were problems start. The show was on a Wednesday so that's already awkward to promote, and really we didn't want to tell people about this anyway. A day before the show I realize we had only sold like 10 tickets. I was kind of panicking until a lady from the Palmer Room who called me to confirm the gig, told me it was ok, we didn't have to sell the whole 20. So sparing you the details, the day of the show, 5 seconds before play the owner stops us and says we hadn't sold enough tickets, when someone from his staff told us that we didn't have too. As you could imagine this sparked a whole lot of arguing yelling and sophisticated threats. So after sifting through a bunch of other lies including the "$2000" cash prize (($1000 cash and $1000 studio time--which is like 1 hour)) and the "Sony and Monster Energy Drink" reps who were supposed to be there, the end result was that we could play half of our allowed 30 min set because we sold half the tickets, but we couldn't be in the competition..this is after he denied our refund. Bullshit right? To make matters a little bit worse...this is how the internet voting for the show looked after we played our half set of 4 songs.... (-_-)

hey yall this is Majors, friend to Somewhere Else and music producer. ill be posting here as much as i can.

so shout outs to lonnie CmB and P.

this video was dope and inspired me, so for those of yall that didnt catch this on VH1, here you go.

So what has SomeWhere Else been up too? Too much to tell. But being the good guy that I am, I'll go ahead and cut you in on something that I find pretty exciting. It looks like we gonna be doing our first music video. After seeing what Alex and Joe (Young Replicants) did with M83's song "We own the sky", I was like "Yo, I want to work with them". After pulling a few string (Thanks Tiana) I got in touch with them and after listening to our music, they agreed to go through with it. As for what song we're doin, It's a secret....partly because we don't even know lol, but however it goes its gonna be innovative.
